Electric Vertical Takeoff and Landing (eVTOL) aircraft are poised to transform mobility in North Texas, introducing a new era of Advanced Air Mobility. These aircraft offer efficient, flexible options for passenger travel, cargo movement, and emergency response.
This panel will explore how eVTOL can integrate with existing transportation systems in Tarrant County, enhance regional connectivity, and support growth. Discussion will focus on key considerations including infrastructure, airspace coordination, energy needs, and the partnerships required to bring this next generation of transportation to life.
The conversation will also highlight the Center for Advanced Aviation Technologies (CAAT), which is helping position North Texas as a national hub for advanced aviation research, testing, and infrastructure planning, as well as Texas’ involvement in the eVTOL Integration Pilot Program (eIPP), which is advancing coordination between state, regional, and industry partners to prepare communities and airports for future eVTOL operations.
